KAAN MUAY THAI / POLICIES
Training Safety & Participation
Effective 20 October 2026 · Bangkok time (UTC+7).
Train at your own level
Muay Thai, boxing and conditioning involve physical exertion and risk of injury. Tell your coach your experience and agree a suitable pace before the session. Stop and alert the coach if you feel unwell, dizzy, unusually breathless or in pain.
Health and readiness
If you have a condition, injury or uncertainty that may affect participation, seek advice from a qualified clinician before training. Discuss practical training limitations privately with your coach. The booking form is not a medical assessment; do not upload medical records or detailed health information.
Equipment and hygiene
Wear clean sportswear, remove jewellery and train barefoot on the mats. Bring water, a towel and hand wraps. Loan gloves and pads may be available for an introductory session. Clean equipment after use and do not train with a contagious illness or an uncovered wound.
Contact and sparring
Sparring is not required for beginners and is never an automatic part of a booking. Contact drills require coach approval, an agreed intensity and appropriate protective equipment, including a mouthguard. Respect your partner’s limits and stop immediately when asked.
Conduct on the mats
Follow coaching instructions, respect other students and keep walkways and training areas clear. No aggressive behaviour, intoxication or unsupervised sparring. The coach may stop or adapt a session if conditions are unsafe.
Age and emergencies
Online booking is for adults aged 18 or older. A parent or guardian must contact the gym directly about minors. For an urgent incident, alert staff immediately and use appropriate local emergency services. This website does not provide emergency assistance.
Participation acknowledgement
Acknowledging these guidelines confirms that you have read them; it is not a substitute for an in-person safety briefing or any additional arrangements required by the operator. Nothing in these guidelines is intended to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Effective 20 October 2026.
